Post-Psychedelic Integration · Charlotte, NC
Sometimes a psychedelic experience opens something that does not close afterward. The retreat ends. The session concludes. Something remains present in a way that ordinary life has not yet found a way to absorb.
Post psychedelic integration is the name for the work that begins at that point. Not the experience itself. What remains when the experience is over.
When the experience stays with you
This work may be appropriate when you are stable and functioning after a psychedelic experience, whether it took place in a ceremony, a therapeutic setting, or privately. You may have come away with a question, a recognition, an image, an encounter, or a sense of something unfinished that has not settled into anything you can name or use.
You may have had this experience months ago. The interval does not necessarily make what remains lighter.
What integration means here
The experience may have opened a question. Integration creates a place to understand what stayed with you and decide how to carry it forward.
Psychedelic integration in this context is not limited to recounting what happened, reliving the experience, or forcing it into a satisfying explanation. Some experiences remain difficult to understand through conversation alone. They may benefit from attention that is structured, patient, and not rushed toward meaning.
The work gives you a structured setting in which to examine what stayed with you. It is not treated as pathology or proof of spiritual fact, and its meaning is not interpreted for you. You retain authority over what the experience means and whether anything in your life now needs to change.
What may still be with you
You may have come away knowing that something in your life needs to change without knowing what to do with that yet. A decision may feel different. A relationship may no longer look the same. Questions about work, direction, or purpose may feel clearer in one sense and more complicated in another.
What remains may be more specific: past-life imagery, an encounter that does not fit your ordinary frame of reference, or a question you continue returning to. The aim is not to dismiss it or decide its meaning for you. It is to give the experience a place where it can be considered carefully.
What Lin does and does not do
This is not a reading. Lin does not interpret the content of your experience, tell you what it meant, or channel additional information about what you encountered. That is a different kind of service and is not offered here.
Lin holds the structure of the work and provides a context in which you can examine what has stayed with you. A session may draw on hypnotherapy, structured inquiry, or another approach depending on what you want to explore. Its direction is established with you before the work begins.
You retain authority over the experience and its meaning. Lin does not decide what your psychedelic experience was or what it signified. For more on how the approach operates, see how the method works.
Interpretation and authority
How you understand what you encountered is yours to determine. Lin does not determine whether it was spiritual, psychological, neurological, or something else. You may understand it as access to another reality, as meaningful subconscious content, or more loosely as something significant that has not yet found its place.
The work does not require a final conclusion about what the experience was. It creates room to consider what remains and what you want to do with it.
When regression may be relevant
If your psychedelic experience included past-life imagery, ancestral themes, or something you understood as extending beyond your personal biography, you may want to explore that experience further. Regression is not an automatic next step, but it may be one possibility to discuss.
Depending on what you are looking for, Past Life Regression, Life Between Lives, or another approach within Transpersonal Hypnotherapy may be discussed during the consultation.
The consultation is where you and Lin determine whether any of these directions fit what you want to explore.
Format and location
Post-psychedelic integration sessions are available in person in Cornelius, NC, serving Charlotte, Lake Norman, and the surrounding area. Private online sessions are available via Zoom throughout North Carolina and internationally.
Sessions are private and confidential. Lin Shlonsky is a Board Certified Master Hypnotherapist and Master Teacher with 17 years in private practice. She has been a Certified Past Life Regression Practitioner since 2013.
Integration sessions begin with a consultation. You can discuss what happened, what has remained difficult or unfinished, and whether this is the right setting for what you need. No session is scheduled without that conversation.
A note on safety
If you are experiencing urgent psychiatric symptoms, significant distress, or anything that feels like a medical situation, please contact an appropriate licensed provider or emergency service. This work may be appropriate when you are stable, functioning, and want support making sense of what has remained after a psychedelic experience.
Before scheduling
You may simply know that something from it is still with you.
The consultation gives you and Lin a place to discuss what happened, what has remained difficult or unfinished, and what kind of support, if any, makes sense from here.
You do not need to arrive with an interpretation or decide in advance what kind of work you need.
The goal is not to make the experience smaller or force it into an explanation. It is to help what happened find a place in your life without continuing to occupy so much of it.
