Board Certified Hypnotherapist and Master Trainer
Professional depth matters.
So does feeling understood by the person sitting across from you.
I have worked in private practice since 2009, first in New York and now from the Lake Norman area.
My credentials include board certification in hypnotherapy and Master Trainer status through the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, as well as certification through the National Guild of Hypnotists.
For seventeen years, I have worked with clients across three continents, in person and online.
My education includes Ericksonian hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming, life coaching, regression work, comprehensive energy psychology, and counseling approaches to psychological trauma.
I continue training because responsible practice requires more than relying on what worked ten years ago. It requires judgment that keeps developing.
My first professional training was in complementary health and mind-body approaches in Israel.
That early work taught me to pay attention to the whole person: what they say, what their body communicates, what their history has required of them, and what gives their life meaning.
After moving into hypnosis, NLP, and coaching, I became increasingly interested in the gap between understanding a problem and being able to respond differently when it matters.
That question shaped the practice I have today.
I did not arrive at this work through one school, one technique, or one explanation of human behavior.
Years of working across cultures also taught me not to assume that every client organizes life around the same values.
For some people, faith is central. For others, it is not. Christian clients are welcome to ask direct questions about hypnosis, spiritual boundaries, and whether the work can remain consistent with their beliefs.
The work does not replace faith, impose spiritual ideas, or ask a client to surrender personal judgment. It is conducted with respect for the framework in which the client understands their life.
Good work begins with listening closely enough
to understand the person, not merely the symptom.
You do not have to set aside your values
in order to seek meaningful change.
I will take your concern seriously without making it larger, stranger, or more dramatic than it is.
I will ask direct questions, explain what I see, and tell you when I do not yet have enough information to draw a conclusion.
I will not keep you in indefinite work simply because more can always be discussed.
The relationship should feel human.
The work itself should remain clear.
Many clients come to me while carrying significant responsibility at work, at home, or in their communities. Privacy and discretion are not extras in this practice.
Sessions are confidential, engagements are time-bound, and the purpose of the work is defined before we proceed.
When written session summaries would support continuity, they are provided privately between sessions.
Private.
Structured.
Focused on the change
you came to make.
The first conversation is a consultation, not a sales presentation or a hypnotherapy session. We clarify what is happening, what you have already tried, and whether this work fits what you want to address.
If we proceed, the assessment establishes the direction of the work. I do not select an explanation in advance or fit every client into the same process.
The engagement is time-bound and organized around a defined outcome rather than an open-ended arrangement.
In-person sessions are available by appointment in Cornelius, convenient to Huntersville, Davidson, Mooresville, and the Lake Norman area.
Online sessions are available through Zoom for clients in North Carolina and internationally.
Some local clients prefer to meet in person. Others choose Zoom for privacy, scheduling, or the ease of working from their own space.
The format does not change the seriousness or structure of the work. We choose the setting that supports the client best.
Begin with a consultation
Bring the problem
as you understand it.
We will determine
what the next step requires.
A private phone or Zoom consultation to clarify the situation and determine whether working together makes sense.
